Urban Juncture, Inc.

A for-profit enterprise, has provided the seed capital necessary to secure the foundational assets, enterprises, and initiatives that lie at the heart of Urban Juncture's work. It was founded in 2003 by Bernard Loyd, a Bronzeville resident and former partner of McKinsey & Company. It is a 100% locally-owned enterprise certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the State of Illinois.

Urban Juncture Foundation

A nonprofit enterprise, leads many of Urban Juncture's community revitalization programs and initiatives. UJF was founded in 2008 by three Bronzeville residents and civic leaders: Robert Blackwell Jr., Sidney Dillard, and Bernard Loyd. Its 501(c)3 status provides select stakeholders the opportunity to make tax-advantaged contributions to support Urban Juncture's work.
